As per usual, I’m participating in another endurance event – the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon but this time I’m raising funds for Shoe4Africa who is constructing Africa’s first children’s cancer hospital. My goal is to raise $3,000.

Why Did I select Shoe4Africa?:
I looked at every charity in the race and I wanted a charity where my donation wasn’t lost in charity expenses, but 100% of what I raised would go toward actually making a difference.

Shoe4Africa has already achieved a significant milestone by building East & Central Africa’s first Public Children’s Hospital, which has provided crucial care to over 1,000,000 children. Now, they aim to take it a step further by constructing a dedicated children’s cancer hospital.
