I’m excited to partner with Shoe4Africa for the upcoming United Airlines NYC Half Marathon on March 16, 2025. Shoe4Africa’s initial focus was collecting and distributing athletic shoes to young runners in Kenya but has expanded its scope over the years to address broader issues affecting children, including education and healthcare.

They are currently constructing sub-Saharan Africa’s first children’s cancer hospital (9 out of 10 children diagnosed with cancer in the region do not survive), and I’m raising funds this winter to help them get across the finish line. The organization has already achieved a significant milestone this year – treating 1.2 million kids in its public children’s hospital since 2015, and we are looking to accelerate care with this dedicated children’s cancer hospital.
