I’m excited to share a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. On November 3rd, 2024, I’ll be participating in the TCS New York City Marathon to raise funds for an amazing initiative – building Sub-Saharan Africa’s very first children’s cancer hospital.

In March 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to travel around East Africa. This trip was an eye-opening and deeply meaningful experience for me. I felt a strong connection to the people and the region, and it made me realize the profound need for better healthcare facilities. I am thrilled to have found Shoe4Africa, a charity that shares my passion for making a difference.

It’s heartbreaking to know that currently, 9 out of 10 children diagnosed with cancer in this vast region do not survive. The urgency for action is clear, and that’s why I’m running for Shoe4Africa, an organization dedicated to creating positive change.

Shoe4Africa has already made a huge impact by building East & Central Africa’s first Public Children’s Hospital, providing crucial care to over 1,000,000 children. Now, we’re taking the next big step: constructing a specialized children’s cancer hospital.
