shoe4africa - make the difference!
Hello family and friends!
On March 17th, I will be running the NYC Half Marathon on the behalf of Shoe4Africa, and I’m asking for your help in donations.
Since moving to NYC, I have run both Brooklyn Half Marathons but always been eager to run the NYC Half marathon! It’s one of the liveliest and “funnest” Half Marathons I’ve seen (I mean somewhat fun, I am running after all… but look at this iconic route). Starting in Prospect Park, crossing over the Manhattan Bridge with views of Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge, through East Village, Times Square and ending in Central Park. This year I have an opportunity to run it while also raising money for an important cause with Shoe4Africa, and contribute to their efforts in building the first children’s cancer hospital in sub-Saharan Africa. I’d love to use this opportunity to bring awareness to what this organization is doing for the communities there. 100% of your donation, regardless of the amount, will go directly to this noble cause. Together, we can make a substantial impact on the lives of children facing cancer in sub-Saharan Africa.
I’m looking forward to training for the NYC Half marathon, gaining new experiences, meeting new people, and supporting Shoe4Africa along the way.
Thank you for your support!
