Firstly who can not love this charity’s name, secondly we love what they do. And we have seen it, and are truly impressed. The driving force behind one heart is Dean Landy, an Ozzie architect. They have a village, a sustainable village no less, changing the lives of many in Turbo, close to Eldoret. the base is a school around an orphans home with cows, and ways to make sure this complex runs itself. I saw a fish pool, chickens and more, plus some great structures. Check out the site (above).
So we were happy to see that Dean and his troop of heroes came to visit the hospital to say Hi to the kids. The kids of One Heart were visitors at Christmas bringing music to the patients with their national Championship winning brass band.
