Kudos to Martin Kosgey, top today five at Frankfurt, after a 2:07:22 2nd place last year. Martin was one of many we helped with running shoes years ago when we did sports handouts. He comes from a family in Kimn’geru, near Martin Lel. He got shoes at our races a couple of times, even his father too. His last brother William Kosgey was one of Kenya’s finest young talents in the 800m in the 1990’s, before committing suicide through frustration. Martin is using his running to change his community.
