Hi friends and family, On November 2, I’ll be running for children who can’t. I’ll be lacing up my running shoes and hit the streets of New York City again to run the world’s biggest marathon. But this run is about more than just crossing the finish line — it’s about giving hope to children battling cancer in sub-Saharan Africa. The charity I’m running for, Shoe4Africa (supported by marathon champions like Eliud Kipchoge), is committed to building the first children’s cancer hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa (a 152-bed public facility). In 2015, they successfully opened a general hospital in Kenya which treats 400+ children a day. They’re the real deal. Please help me reach my fundraising goal. Donations are tax deductible, and 100% of the funds raised will go directly to making this hospital a reality. I appreciate your support for this worthy cause. Warmly, Raphael Photo: Training with Verena in Central Park
