Our names are Megan and Sean. Though originally Oregonians, we are both moving to New York permanently this year, hence our excitement about running the New York Marathon.

Though we ran cross country in high school, those runs were often painful and stemmed from a place of obligation. But in 2018, we had a come to Jesus moment and realized we absolutely loved to run. Since then, we have done several Ragnars and half-marathons, in the U.S. and abroad.

We have been blessed to live and travel throughout the beautiful east African nations of Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, and Zambia. As such, the top charity we wanted to work with was Shoe4Africa. Every dollar donated will go directly towards funding a hospital, a project facilitated by Shoe4Africa.
