Hi- I’m Lindsey Bentley!

I’m excited for the opportunity to help raise funds for Shoe4Africa! Being a Mother to 5 children is the greatest privilege and honor of my life. All children deserve to be loved, fed, healthy, and safe.

Shoe4Africa originated from Toby Tanser’s vision of harnessing the power of sports to create positive change for African children. I know from experience with my own children the positive impact sports can have on not only their physical health but their confidence, self esteem and work ethic as well!

As a runner myself I know that the sport has helped me conquer many physical and emotional challenges in life, including the death of my Dad in 2014. Running is a way I feel connected and close to him. I have been offered the opportunity to run the NEW YORK CITY MARATHON to help raise funds for African children. NYC will be my 18th Marathon!! I appreciate any donation big or small to help me accomplish my goal and give children in Africa the opportunity to have a successful and happy life!!
