On November 2nd, I will be running the New York City Marathon in support of The Juli Anne Perry Pediatric Cancer Hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa, which is named after my Aunt Juli. Juli always had a large passion for serving others, especially those in Africa. The hospital will be the first children’s cancer hospital in the area. Her example made me much of who I am today. This organization truly utilizes the ideals my aunt lived for her entire life, though it was cut short by breast cancer. I am excited to see the completion of that hospital in the future, and I know any donation will truly bless the children in Africa who are most susceptible to death from cancer. In Kenya alone, countless children face a heartbreaking reality: cancer diagnoses that often come without access to treatment. Every dollar raised brings us closer to making this hospital a reality. Your support will directly impact children who desperately need access to treatment and hope. Thank you for believing in this cause and for cheering me on as I run to make a difference. Graciously, Jordan |
