Ok… let’s run this back. I’m super excited to be running the TCS New York City Marathon again for Shoe4Africa, an incredible charity that provides healthcare and education to children in need. This will be my second time running for this important cause – and maybe this time, I won’t miss my BQ by 34 seconds lol ???? Helping children has always been a cause close to my heart. My passion for this was sparked during my time volunteering at Hogar San Francisco de Asis in Chaclacayo, Peru – a home founded by my Uncle Tony to care for ill and destitute children, providing them with medical attention, education, and a safe place to grow. Experiencing firsthand the difference that compassion and generosity can make in a child’s life has inspired me to continue giving back. This is about so much more than the miles – it’s about making a real, tangible difference. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps provide children with access to healthcare and education – basic rights that feel increasingly urgent given the world we’re living in. 100% of your donation goes directly to the charity. If you can give (or even just share), I’d be genuinely grateful. Let’s do some good. Again. HMS |
