Hi all! I am back again to run another marathon this year – and will be running the NYC Marathon this upcoming fall.

This year I will be raising money for Shoe 4 Africa – Shoe4Africa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a healthier, better-educated Africa by building public hospitals, schools, and empowerment programs. Health and education are human rights—and the most effective tools for ending cycles of poverty.

I have had the privilege my life to have readily available access to healthcare – something that should not be be taken for granted. Currently, Shoe 4 Africa is spearheading the construction of sub-Saharan Africa’s first dedicated public children’s cancer hospital, a critical need in a region where child cancer survival rates are among the world’s lowest due to lack of access. Donations will support building this hospital and give children access to the healthcare they deserve!
