Shhh… It’s a Secret! Please don’t tell my brother Jack… This November, Jack thinks he’s the only one in the family running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. Well… surprise! I’m running too! My plan is to appear on the start line on race morning and see the look on Jack’s face when he realizes he’s got a brother to chase for 26.2 miles through the streets of New York! But while the sibling rivalry will be fun, the real reason I’m running is far more important. Jack and I are in the Shoe4Africa Running Club and are helping Shoe4Africa build sub-Saharan Africa’s first dedicated children’s cancer hospital in Kenya. Construction is already well underway, and in just a few months, children who currently have little or no access to specialist cancer treatment will finally have a place dedicated to giving them hope and a chance to survive. That’s why I’m asking for your support. Every donation—large or small—will help bring this incredible hospital to life and give children battling cancer the care they deserve. Better yet, all donations are fully tax-deductible. Thank you so much for supporting my marathon journey and, more importantly, these amazing children. Just one favor… Please don’t tell Jack where I’ll be on November 1st! Let’s keep the secret alive until we’re standing together at the start line. P.S. Who do you think will cross the finish line first… Jack or me? |
