This November, I’m taking on the New York City Marathon — all 26.2 miles — not just for the challenge, but for a cause that’s deeply important: helping build sub-Saharan Africa’s first public children’s cancer hospital in Kenya. Right now, in sub-Saharan Africa, children with cancer face heartbreaking odds. Over 90% will not survive, not because the disease can’t be treated, but because there’s no access to proper care. In sub-Saharan Africa, there isn’t a single children’s cancer hospital — meaning thousands of young patients are turned away, undiagnosed, or untreated. Shoe4Africa is changing that. After building East & Central Africa’s first public children’s hospital, they are now creating the region’s first public children’s cancer hospital — a place where every child, no matter their background, will receive treatment, compassion, and hope. Running 26.2 miles is tough — but it’s nothing compared to the daily fight these kids face. Your donation will directly help build and equip this life-saving hospital, so no child has to be denied care because of where they were born or how much their family can afford. Every mile I run is for them. Every step I take is powered by your support. Race Day: November 2nd, 2025 Please give what you can — every dollar truly makes a difference. Together, we can give these kids the best chance at life. Donate now and help me cross the finish line for Kenya’s children. Prady |
