Great news that one of our most severe burns patients is now out and about up in her her home county of Turkana.  The little girl, who we’ll call ‘Lucy’ was admitted to us with terrible burns after she was caught inside a house that burned to  the ground killing her siblings.  It has taken months, and months, and she has been through some very tough times but the wounds no longer need to be dressed and she is nicely healing… seen her with her Mandazi’s (Kenyan donuts).
