shoe4africa - make the difference!
This November I am running for children who can’t. I will be running the 50th anniversary race of the TCS New York City Marathon to raise funds for children who were born into poverty in East Africa, and have been diagnosed with cancer.
Today 9/10 kids diagnosed with cancers in this region are dying. In the West we’ve managed to get that number down to 1/10. The charity I am running for, Shoe4Africa, has committed to building the 1st children’s cancer hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2015, they opened the 1st public children’s general hospital in East Africa which is treating over 400 patients a day.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal of $3,000. Every donation will help make this hospital a reality and donations are tax deductible. You can also mail a check to me and make it payable to Shoe4Africa.
