shoe4africa - make the difference!
Hey Friends and Family!
I am participating in the NYC marathon this year on November 7th in support of Shoe4Africa and the first and only public children’s oncology hospital in the entire region of East Africa! Many of you know how passionate I am about missions, health care, and making an impact on a global level. Being able to contribute to the Juli Anne Perry Children’s Cancer Hospital that will break ground this year while running a marathon is so inspiring and I would love for you to partner with me in doing that!
The USA has over 157 children’s hospitals with 320 million citizens. Sub Saharan Africa has over a billion people and has 3 public children’s hospitals. According to the Texas Children’s Global Hope program, 9/10 kids diagnosed with cancer in sub-Saharan Africa are dying. This is opposite to the stats we have attained in the West, where 9/10 kids survive. Your support will help Shoe4Africa build a 152-bed hospital where every child seen will be treated. Your support will mean so much to me and more to the millions of kids and families whose lives will be impacted and bettered by the building of this hospital.
Crossing the finish line at the NYC marathon will mean that I will have the opportunity to contribute to a legacy that will benefit millions of children and families in Central and Eastern Africa. I invite you to join me in being a part of that legacy and making a difference in the lives of many.
My goal is to raise $5000 and I will match the first $1500! All donations are tax deductible through Shoe4Africa. Please prayerfully consider donating to this amazing foundation and choose to make a difference in the lives of African children!
Many Thanks and Love, Molly
