Hi friends,

I thank you for joining me on this exciting journey to make a big impact doing what I love and feel passionate about.

I am proud to say that on November 4, 2018 I will be running the NYC marathon. Training with diligence and discipline running has taught me valuable lessons that I apply in everything I do. And through all the hard work my opportunity to perform my best will offer better health, education and empowerment for children in need.

Shoe4Africa is a non-profit organization that began by donating shoes and has since expanded. Because so many African children were dying from treatable and preventable diseases, Shoe4Africa made the decision to build the first public children’s hospital in East & Central Africa. The hospital opened in 2015 and has been a great success, in the last year treating over 116,000 patients! Currently, the hospital is treating 318 children per day on average, with mothers traveling from all over Kenya because they know their child will be treated in a timely and respectful manner. The next step to this mission is to improve the hospital with better equipment, services, prevention education, and to offer free screenings.

We are privileged beyond our imaginations and blessed beyond our needs. Encourage me on my journey around the 26.2 mile course throughout New York City. Any level of contribution and encouragement is welcomed and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity and support.

Best,
Labinot
