Thank you so much for your support as I raise money for Shoe4Africa to run in the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon this November. Shoe4Africa is committed to building the 1st children’s cancer hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa- the Shoe4Africa Children’s Cancer Hospital.

Shoe4Africa supports African kids born into poverty who have contracted cancer. The odds are against these kids. 9/10 are dying in sub-Saharan Africa when diagnosed with cancers and a major reason why is because there is not a single children’s cancer hospital in the entire region of sub-Saharan Africa ( a population of over one billion). In America, 1/10 kids die and 90% of those kids are healed in kids cancer centers. In 2015, Shoe4Africa opened the 1st public children’s general hospital in East Africa which treats 400+ patients a day, and now they are striving to build the first children’s cancer hospital in the region.
