shoe4africa - make the difference!

In May of 2014, I started a journey to run a Half Marathon in each of the 50 States. Since then I have ran a total 61 Half Marathons and completed 41 states. In March, New York will be the 43rd state.

I have an opportunity with this race to raise money for a very worthy charity, Shoe4Africa. This  charity built the first children’s hospital in Eldoret, Kenya to service the many ill children there. I am truly very excited to represent team Shoe4Africa in the 2019 New York City Half Marathon. I am honored to represent this incredible charity to help them continue their endless pursuit to promote health, happiness and education for African children and their families. By contributing to my fundraising page you will be helping to sustain the hospital’s daily operational costs and patient care, while simultaneously providing jobs and training to numerous community members.

You will also be supporting the construction of new projects such as, a music therapy room, play center and educational technology building, while additionally continuing the longevity of past projects including the community garden, hospital kitchen and internal school. I am very humbled and grateful to be given an opportunity to spread the hope and inspiration behind Shoe4Africa’s mission. Thank you in advance for your support of my individual journey and your personal financial contribution that will help carry on this very important work. Know that 100% of your contribution will go toward the mission, not to advertising or corporate pockets.
