shoe4africa - make the difference!
Greetings Friends and Family,
Thank you for visiting my 2019 Shoe4Africa NYC Marathon charity page.
With the 2019 NYC Marathon nearly upon us, I am excited to dedicate my 26.2 mile run on November 3rd to the construction of the first Pediatric Cancer Hospital in Kenya. This run will be especially meaningful to me as I raise funds to honor my late father, Edward Leonard Siegel, who recently lost his battle with lung cancer. We will turn his struggle with this disease into a positive by raising funds to help reduce child cancer mortality rates in Kenya and the rest of Sub-Sarahan Africa. Thus far, Shoe4Africa has raised $1.3 million for our new hospital and we are targeting a $2 million total raise with ground breaking now slated for early 2020. Please help me reach my goal of raising $100,000 so that this hospital may be a benefit to the community for generations to come. Thank you for your continued love and support and I will see you at the finish line on November 3rd.
