shoe4africa - make the difference!
Dear friends & family,
This November I am running the 50th anniversary TCS New York City Marathon with the Shoe4Africa team! I will be running to raise funds for East African children born into poverty and diagnosed with cancer. 9 out of 10 of these children will not survive—compared to 1 out of 10 in the United States.
In 2015, Shoe4Africa opened the 1st public children’s general hospital in East Africa, which treats 400+ patients a day. Now they’re committed to building the 1st children’s cancer hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to making this hospital a reality.
Thank you in advanced for your support! Africa stole a huge part of my heart after visiting Tanzania in 2019, and I’m so happy that I’ll be running this race in support of Shoe4Africa and all that they stand for.
All the best,
