shoe4africa - make the difference!
Hey family and friends,
Thank you for taking the time to stop by my fundraising page! This November, I will be running in the 50th anniversary for the New York City marathon. However, unlike previous marathons I have run before, this marathon I will be focused on running to raise money for a small non-profit, Shoe4Africa.
Shoe4Africa, was founded in 1995 where individuals from this organization reached out to local communities in Africa to work towards the following goal to save and empower children’s lives and women. Over the years this work has positively influenced these communities by opening up east and central Africa’s first public children’s hospital in 2015, creating an avocado and bean agri-program to support economically disadvantaged single mothers, and building five different schools ranging from primary to secondary educational institutions.
This year, Shoe4Africa is working towards funding to support a children’s cancer hospital for east and central Africa. Please help me reach my fundraising goal of 3,000 to help allow this incredible work to continue to happen in eastern Africa, 100% of your donation will go to Shoe4Africa, and donations are tax deductible.
