Shoe4Africa is a charititable organization and needs the help of people like you! Until recently Shoe4Africa was able to take donated shoes and bear the cost of shipping them to Africa. The USPS changed its policy and rate structure on shipping and no longer allows shoes to be shipped to Africa via surface mail; all freight must be air. This has increased our costs above five fold making it temporarily impossible for us to send your shoes for you.
Currently, we are securing storage and researching new shipping options, and while we do so we encourage you to ship your donateable shoes directly to our representatives in Africa.
Shoe4Africa is a volunteer organization, no staff or offices. We put on large events in Africa, sponsor school children, have a schools rebuilding program, and send shoes to Africa. At present, with virtually no donations for any of the above, we are encouring the concept of asking people, if you buy a $100+ running shoe, then to spend about 8% of that (or less as what shoes cost $100?) and posting your own gently used pair to Africa.
Please only send gently used, as we are paying tax receiving many shoes, that when unpacked, are found to be no use for running. The shoe should be 'good' for at least another 100-miles of running, thanks so much.
Shoes must be sent via AIRMAIL (USPS is the best, most cost-effective method). Please send to the following address:
Shoe4Africa
c/o Monicah Kiplagat
PO Box 6943
Eldoret, Kenya
We are attempting to secure support from a shipping/courier or freight sponsor to continue and expand the program. In the meantime we are sending the stock of shoes we have on hand 'slowly' by airmail as funds permit. If you have any information or can help us in our search for affordable shipping please send us an email at: info@shoe4africa.org.

Shoe4Africa is an organization that now steps further than just handing out shoes. Our initiatives include training camps, athletic scholarships and sponsored races. Shoe4Africa has largely been operating without sponor funds with nearly all expenses being paid out of our own pocket and through donations.
To that end we are happy to accept both Individual and Corporate donations. For more information or to make a charitable contribution please click below or contact Shoe4Africa’s director Toby Tanser at: Toby@shoe4africa.org.
