shoe4africa - make the difference!
Welcome to my fundraising page!
I am very excited to be running the NYC Marathon on 6th November 2016 with Team Shoe4Africa. This is only my second ever marathon, and I am aiming to run a new personal best by completing it in under 3 hours. This will not be easy as the course is known to be particularly hilly and punishing!
My charity ‘Shoe4Africa’ was founded in 1995 as an organisation devoted to bettering the lives of East African people, especially women & children. What began as a project to provide shoes for athletes in Kenya has become a massive effort to develop health & education infrastructure across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Currently, Shoe4Africa is in the process of building the first ever public teaching children’s hospital in East Africa. By providing healthcare to children and training to adults, the hospital will create a strong foundation of health and self-sufficiency and will pave the way for a future where child mortality is the exception rather than the rule.

If you feel motivated to make a donation you can do so right here. Every little bit counts towards making a difference to the future of the people of Africa.
Thanks for your support!
